Mauritius endemic Pink Pigeon
Endemic to Mauritius the Pink Pigeon, here at Ile aux Aigrettes reserve, had almost become extinct in 1990s only 10 couples were remaining. Due to a fantastic job of the Mauritian Wildlife foundation it seems that today 500 are alive. Considering the IUCN red list this species remain vulnerable.
