This 54 square kilometers island is very scenic. Indeed serious hills with very steep slopes are traversed by roads which seem to plunge at every lace in the blue water offering unforgettable landscapes. Tortola is an excellent base for people who are found of sea activities. Plenty of islands, islets and rocks at a short sailing distance allow to drop anchor in plenty of bays often fitted with nice white sandy beaches. Sailing, diving or snorkeling are a must.
