No electricity except with a few solar panels and no running water but the kindness of inhabitants and a traditional way of life for this small volcanic island. Visitors can be welcomed in traditional huts. The top of the old volcano can be reached with locals through the forest. A marine protected area between N'Guna, Pele and Effate allows snorkelers to discover marine wildlife. In any case the south coast of N'Guna is already managed since old times by villages chief following Melanesian administrative rules.
