Kildalton Celtic cross Islay island
Kildalton cross has been carved on the 8th century. It is considered as the finest cross in Scotland. It features an iconic of the virgin and her child as well as Celtic drawings similar to those of the Book of Kells. The church has been built on the 12th century.
